Tri-Angle Metal Fab is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator with press brake experience for our job shop.
An ideal candidate for this position would have had at least 4 years of previous fabrication experience in a sheet metal shop doing press brake setup and operation along with other fabrication duties.
Tri-Angle is a leading manufacturer in Milton, VT that manufactures a variety of precision components for Aerospace, Defense and Commercial industries.
This job is Full Time for 40 hours weekly or more.
Some overtime may be required.
Job
Responsibilities:
Set-up and operate manual equipment including, but not limited to, press brake, shear, rolls, saws, etc.
Read and correctly interpret customer prints and shop drawings.
Final installation of hardware and assembly of finished parts/components.
Shearing, bending, drilling, and grinding/finishing of a wide variety of materials including stainless steel, aluminum, steel, copper, brass, other metals.
Use hand or power tools (hand drill, hand grinder, etc.
) Operate forklift to move material, parts, or equipment.
Work and communicate well with management and co-workers.
Qualifications/Skills Required:
High level of proficiency with set-up and operation of press brake and other fab shop equipment, i.
e.
shear, rolls, saws, etc.
Proficient in the use of measuring tools for fabrication including, dial calipers, height stand, and other measuring equipment.
Ability to read and interpret customer drawings, sketches and follow verbal instructions.
Welding experience a plus but not required.
Good math skills.
Manual dexterity and an eye for detail.
Must be able to work independently without constant supervision.
This job requires some long periods of standing, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
